First Six Months of 2010- 2011
Club Activities This Year - 2010 - 2011

  • 1st - Terrific Kids Luncheon and Presentation at Watson Primary School & Huntsville Headstart. (Gaskill, Edgmon, Wilson, and Eades) - 8 service hours.
  • 2nd - Hosted the Region VI Governor's Meeting. (Hatfield, Eckmann, McGill, Nelson, Stavert, Spurlock, Cline, Dillahunty, Long, Gillham, Johnson, Pat Chaple, David Pemberton, David Miller, Tom Wiles - 45 Meeting Hours. $800 in food donated to Food Pantry
  • 2nd - Helped Sponsor the Antique Car Show on the Square to aid 9 year old Kayla Dotson who had a heart transplant. $150 Donation
  • 6th - Fixed Lunches for 250 Kids who attended the MCHC Annual Teen Summit at the Jones Center - Community Service and Fundraiser (Eckmann, Cline, Gillham, Edgmon, McGill, Rawson, Buchanan, Jones, Harry Chaple, Pemberton,) 30 service hours and 20 fundraising hours)
  • 7th - Attended the monthly meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (Hatfield, Pemberton, Torix, Johnson, Spurlock, Eades, Wiles, and Long);
    8 service hours.
  • 31st - Donated $52 for meeting promotion and $150 for community art project.
  • 31st - 4 Monthly Club Meetings; average attendance per meeting = 28; 112 meeting hours.
  • 1st - Quilt Raffle for Kids Shopping Spree (Fundraiser)- Totals forthcoming.
  • 2nd - Madison County Flu Vaccination Clinic (Community Service) - 72 Service hours (Miller, Torix, McGill, Eckmann, Crum, Pat Chaple, Edgmon, Lievsay).
  • 4th - Attended the monthly meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors , Pemberton, Torix, Johnson, Hatfield, Gillham, Eades, Spurlock, Wiles, and Long) 9 service hours
  • 5th - Terrific Kids Luncheon and Presentation at Watson Primary School and Huntsville Headstart. (Gilmer, Eades, Wilson) 6 service hours
  • 6th - Donated $200 to the Kiwanis International Foundation.
  • 6th - Donated $280 to Division Projects and Outreach and Earl Collins Foundation.
  • 14th - Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner • Club Fundraising Project. Raised $1,700 • 120 fundraising hours-30 members.
